Odin's BridgeOdenseThe task of redirecting traffic from central Odense was solved by means of 815 meter of road crossing the Odense Channel and a large meadow. The entire bridge enterprise is comprised of 280 meters of dam, 260 meter of meadow bridge on one side of the channel, the actual swing bridge made in steel and measuring 192 meter and finally a smaller meadow bridge of some 80 meters.
The swing bridge has been awarded the Danish Construction award 2013 by the Danish division of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering.
